A beverage cooler brand sourcing from Asia recently asked us one question before anything else: "Can you build the LED lighting into the glass door itself, or do we have to add strips to the cabinet later?" What LED lighting options can be integrated into a glass door?

Three formats cover most projects. Perimeter LED strips run along the door frame and wash the interior evenly — the most common choice for beverage coolers.

A new lit-door project starts with samples: typically 3-5 doors in 10-15 working days, including strip fitting and a powered-on test at the factory.

Batch production runs about 25-35 days depending on glass configuration and frame finish. MOQ depends on whether the door profile and printing are new tooling; the number is stated explicitly in the quotation, never estimated verbally.

How should LED doors be tested before shipment?

Every door is powered on at the factory: brightness uniformity along the strip, connector seating, and a 48-hour aging run to catch early LED failures. Glass quality checks follow the standard insulated-door procedure — dimensions, tempered fragmentation, dew point, and seal integrity.
