This is the highest-spec configuration and also the highest-cost. For projects in the GCC, ASEAN, and tropical Africa, the tropical spec is non-negotiable.
Typical deployments: Northern Europe cold rooms, Russia, Canada, mountain regions, Central Asia. Cold ambient helps the compressor but creates a different problem: extreme temperature differential between inside (-25°C) and outside (-20°C) causes insulated glass edge frost.
